Formed in 1987 SLOWBURNER by original members:Paul Bridgwater,Mike Bannister,Tim Border and

Jason Roper......gigging U.K. pubs,clubs & universities.

1989 saw the band playing on 3 separate occasions at the legendary MARQUEE club in London as

well as prestigious supports to Ian Gillan & Dr Feelgood.In September the release of the band`s

debut (vinyl) album.."AN EMOTIONAL BUSINESS" is followed by U.K. tours supporting THUNDER

& WISHBONE ASH.

1990-94 gigging all over the U.K. including support slots with GROUNDHOGS & ARTHUR BROWN.

Also the release of a 2nd album,"A FEW LITTLE IMPERFECTIONS" in 1991.

1995-97 continually gigging even though band members were involved with different projects.

supporting well known acts such as:DR.FEELGOOD,LIGHTNING WILLIE,MAGNUM,HAMSTERS,

GREG WRIGHTS LEFT HOOK & LESLIE WESTS MOUNTAIN.1996 Colin Edmonds joins on drums.

1998 SLOWBURNER release "DEEPEST BLUE" on the Amiphone label & promote it up to 2000 all

over the U.K.(support slots with:9 BELOW ZERO,PAT TRAVERS,A.P.B.,HUMBLE PIE,LIGHTNING

WILLIE & the POORBOYS.)Including appearances at BLUES FESTIVALS :BURNLEY,COLNE,

GLOUCESTER & FARNHAM MALTINGS.2000 Rob Newell joins on bass.

2001-04 "SHOUT the BLUES" cd/album released,followed by U.K. gigs,including slots at HAYLING ISLAND BLUES

FESTIVAL,UPTON BLUES,ISLE of WIGHT BOOGALOO,BURNLEY &MARYPORT FESTIVALS....plus

supports to:PETER GREEN,BIG BROTHER,STAN WEBB,STEVE GIBBONS,CLIMAX BLUES BAND,

MICK TAYLOR,BUDGIE,10 YEARS AFTER,EUGENE BRIDGES.***ROBERT PLANT gets up & jams with the

band on several occasions.2002 Richie Shelton joins on bass.2004 Rob Newell rejoins on bass.

2005-08 cd/album "ONE TRICK PONY" released,gigging continues,including:UPTON JAZZ & BLUES

FESTIVALS,MARYPORT BLUES,ROBIN R&B,B`HAM ARTS FESTIVAL,CLUN BOOZE &

BLUES,LINTON MUSIC FESTIVAL,BURNLEY,WALLINGFORD BLUES, plus support slots to:

SNOWEY WHITE,BUDGIE,MAGGIE BELL,BERNIE MARSDEN & MICKEY MOODY,MOUNTAIN,

CONNIE LUSH,BLOCKHEADS,OTIS GRAND & the ANIMALS.

2009-12 "DOWN to the BONE" released...followed by slots at BRANSFORD,UPTON,BENTWORTH

BLUES FESTIVALS.(great supports to BLACKFOOT, MICK RALPHS & the BLOCKHEADS.
